How to Use a 10″ Wreath Rail Base

With a 10″ wreath rail, you can easily create any stylish and modern look that will enhance any space. The tutorial I am about to share with you is a simple but fun tutorial on making a sunflower everyday wreath, but you could change this up any way you like!

I remember when I first started out, everything was a hot mess (hint’s my name)! I was just a mom who wanted to get crafty and make my house beautiful. Once I started I couldn’t stop, and now I want to help everyone around me create the coolest, most beautiful, and unique pieces.

Create your own everyday wreath witha 10″ wreath rail!

I am going to show you how easy it is for anybody, even beginners, to create this sweet sunflower wreath with just a few simple supplies and a 10″ wreath rail base.

What you will need to make your sea turtle wreath rail:

• 10″ round wreath rail base
• Hi sign
• Brown 2.5″ ribbon
• Sunflower 1.5″ ribbon
• Brown deco tubing
• Orange 10” deco mesh
• 5.5″ burlap mesh
• Pipe cleaners
• Scissors
• Rotary cutter
• Ribbon tail board

How to make your sunflower wreath

1. Start with your round wreath rail.
2. Staple pipe cleaners to your Hi sign.
3. Add 8 pipe cleaners to the wreath rail.
4. Take your orange 10” deco mesh and cut 8 x 10” pieces.
5. Take your orange mesh and pinch the middle together to make a ruffle.
6. Add the ruffle into your wreath rail by attaching it to every twist tie.
7. Take your burlap mesh and cut 8 x 6” pieces.
8. Take your burlap mesh and pinch the middle together to make a ruffle.
9. Add the ruffle into your wreath rail by attaching it to every twist tie on top of the orange mesh.
10. Take your ribbons and cut 8 x 8” strips of each one.
11. Dovetail the ends of your ribbon.
12. Layer the sunflower and brown ribbons, pinch the middle together and add it into the twist ties with the mesh..
13. Take your tubing and cut 8 x 12” pieces.
14. Take the tubing, make a circle and pinch the middle to make a bow.
15. Add two tubing bows into a twist tie on top of the ribbon tails. 
16. Repeat with the rest of the tubing.
17. Attach your Hi sign using the pipe cleaners.
