I am going to show you how easy it is for anybody, even beginners, to create this sweet sunflower wreath with just a few simple supplies and a 10″ wreath rail base.
What you will need to make your sea turtle wreath rail:
- 10″ round wreath rail base
- Hi sign
- Brown 2.5″ ribbon
- Sunflower 1.5″ ribbon
- Brown deco tubing
- Orange 10” deco mesh
- 5.5″ burlap mesh
- Pipe cleaners
- Scissors
- Rotary cutter
- Ribbon tail board
How to make your sunflower wreath
- Start with your round wreath rail.
- Staple pipe cleaners to your Hi sign.
- Add 8 pipe cleaners to the wreath rail.
- Take your orange 10” deco mesh and cut 8 x 10” pieces.
- Take your orange mesh and pinch the middle together to make a ruffle.
- Add the ruffle into your wreath rail by attaching it to every twist tie.
- Take your burlap mesh and cut 8 x 6” pieces.
- Take your burlap mesh and pinch the middle together to make a ruffle.
- Add the ruffle into your wreath rail by attaching it to every twist tie on top of the orange mesh.
- Take your ribbons and cut 8 x 8” strips of each one.
- Dovetail the ends of your ribbon.
- Layer the sunflower and brown ribbons, pinch the middle together and add it into the twist ties with the mesh..
- Take your tubing and cut 8 x 12” pieces.
- Take the tubing, make a circle and pinch the middle to make a bow.
- Add two tubing bows into a twist tie on top of the ribbon tails.
- Repeat with the rest of the tubing.
- Attach your Hi sign using the pipe cleaners.

- Start with your round wreath rail.
- Staple pipe cleaners to your Hi sign.
- Take your pipe cleaners and add 8 to the wreath rail.
- Take your orange 10” deco mesh and cut 8 x 10” pieces.
- Take your orange mesh and pinch the middle together to make a ruffle.
- Add the ruffle into your wreath rail by attaching it to every twist tie.
- Take your burlap mesh and cut 8 x 6” pieces.
- Take your burlap mesh and pinch the middle together to make a ruffle.
- Add the ruffle into your wreath rail by attaching it to every twist tie on top of the orange mesh.
- Take your ribbons and cut 8 x 8” strips of each one.
- Dovetail the ends of your ribbon.
- Layer the sunflower and brown ribbons, pinch the middle together and add it into the twist ties with the mesh..
- Take your tubing and cut 8 x 12” pieces.
- Take the tubing, make a circle and pinch the middle to make a bow.
