I have a super fun project to share with you today! I’m going to show you how to make the Sweet Land of Liberty patriotic wreath project using one of our new printed wreath signs.
I absolutely love the way it turned out!
If you’ve been following me for a quite while, you will already know that patriotic wreath designs are my absolute favorite! I love anything with stars, stripes, red, white, and blue. This Sweet Land of Liberty wreath project is now among my favorites!
Create your own Sweet Land of Liberty Wreath!
I am going to show you how easy it is for anybody, even beginners, to create this Sweet Land of Liberty Wreath with just a few simple supplies.
What you will need to make your Sweet Land of Liberty Wreath:
- Sweet Land of Liberty sign
- Round wreath rail
- patriotic striped ribbon
- patriotic star ribbon
- burlap ribbon
- blue and white striped ribbon
- gold ribbon
- Gold deco tubing
- Light blue 10” deco mesh
- Pipe cleaners
- Scissors
- Rotary cutter
- Ribbon tail board
How to make your Sweet Land of Liberty Wreath:
- Start with your sign and add cable mounts to the back of it.
- Add your mesh ruffles.
- Cut and layer your ribbon tails.
- Dovetail the ends of your ribbon.
- Add your ribbon tails into all your twist ties.
- Cut your tubing.
- Add the tubing bows into the twist ties on top of the ribbon tails.
- Add your sign to your wreath with pipe cleaners.
- Make your bow.
- Layer the bows and secure the bow together with a pipe cleaner.
- Attach your bow to your wreath rail using the pipe cleaner.
- Fluff out your bow.
- Dovetail your bow ends.

Sweet Land of Liberty Wreath
Learn how you can make a Sweet Land of Liberty Wreath with this simple tutorial.
Supplies
Directions
- Start with your sign and add cable mounts to the back of it.
- Take a wreath rail and add 30” ruffles of the blue mesh all around the wreath.
- Take your ribbons and cut 8 x 12” strips of each one.
- Dovetail the ends of your ribbon.
- Layer the two different ribbon tails, pinch the middle together and add it into the twist tie with the mesh.
- Add tails into all your twist ties.
- Take your tubing and cut 8 x 16” pieces.
- Take the tubing, make a circle and pinch the middle to make a bow.
- Add the tubing bow into a twist tie on top of the ribbon tails.
- Repeat with the rest of the tubing.
- Add your sign to your wreath with pipe cleaners.
- Make your bow: Take your burlap ribbon, blue and white striped ribbon, gold ribbon, and your patriotic star ribbon and make a bow with each ribbon.
- Layer the bows and secure the bow together with a pipe cleaner.
- Attach your bow to your wreath rail using the pipe cleaner.
- Fluff out your bow.
- Dovetail your bow ends.
