Make Your Own Valentine Hearts Wreath Rail
This Valentine hearts wreath is perfect, with the typical love color – pink, and all the extra details of the teal jelly ribbon and the black and white stripes, everyone is going to absolutely love it! I am going to show you how simple it is to make with just some mesh, ribbon, tubing, and a easy peasy bow.
What you will need:
- Whimsical Hearts – Wreath Sign
- 10” wreath rail base
- Black and white striped ribbon
- Pink ribbon
- Blue jelly ribbon
- White deco tubing
- Pink 10” deco mesh
- Pipe cleaners
- Mounting squares
- Scissors
- Rotary cutter
- Pliers
Instructions:
- Start with your round wreath rail from the kit.
- Add mounting squares to your sign.
- Add your pipe cleaners.
- Cut pieces of your mesh.
- Take your mesh and create ruffles.
- Add ruffles into your wreath to every second twist tie.
- Cut your ribbons.
- Dovetail the ends of your ribbon.
- Take your tails and add them into every second twist tie.
- Add the remaining ruffles into your wreath..
- Add the remaining tails.
- Cut your tubing
- Make and add the tubing bow into a twist tie.
- Repeat with the rest of the tubing.
- Add a hanger.
- Attach your sign.
- Make your bow.
- Secure the bow together with a pipe cleaner.
- Attach your bow to your wreath rail using the pipe cleaner.
- Fluff out your bow.
- Dovetail your bow ends.

10” wreath rail base
Black and white striped ribbon
Pink ribbon
Directions
- Start with your round wreath rail.
- Add mounting squares to your sign.
- Take your pipe cleaners and add 8 to the wreath rail.
- Take your pink 10” deco mesh and cut 5 x 20” pieces.
- Take your mesh, curl the ends in and pinch the middle together to make a ruffle.
- Add the ruffle into your wreath rail by attaching it to every second twist tie.
- Repeat this process with the rest of your mesh and twist ties.
- Take your pink ribbon and black and white striped ribbon and cut 10” strips of each one.
- Dovetail the ends of your ribbon.
- Layer the pink and striped ribbons, pinch the middle together and add it into the twist tie with the mesh.
- Add the remaining ruffles into your wreath rail by attaching it to every second twist tie.
- Layer the pink and striped ribbons, pinch the middle together and add it into the twist tie with the mesh.
- Take your tubing and cut 8 x 18” pieces.
- Take the tubing, make a circle and pinch the middle to make a bow.
- Add the tubing bow into a twist tie on top of the ribbon tails.
- Repeat with the rest of the tubing.
- Add a pipe cleaner to the back to create a hanger.
- Attach your sign using pipe cleaners and the mounting squares.
- Make your bow: Take your jelly ribbon and make a 3 loop bow with 5” tails.
- Secure the bow together with a pipe cleaner.
- Attach your bow to your wreath rail using the pipe cleaner.
- Fluff out your bow.
- Dovetail your bow ends.
