This Hi There sunflower wreath rail is a fairly simple wreath rail and I highly recommend it! Follow along with these steps to create this beauty!

Materials Needed to make the sunflower Wreath Rail: 

Instructions to create the Hi There Sunflower Wreath Rail Design:

  1. Start with your wreath rail.
  2. Add your pipe cleaners.
  3. Cut your blue mesh.
  4. Add your blue mesh into the design.
  5. Cut your yellow mesh.
  6. Make and add your ruffles.
  7. Cut your ribbon tails.
  8. Dovetail the ends of your ribbon.
  9. Make and add your ribbon tails.
  10. Cut your tubing.
  11. Make and add your tubing bows.
  12. Make your bow.
  13. Attach your bow to your wreath rail.
  14. Fluff out your bow.
  15. Dovetail your bow ends.
  16. Add in a sunflower to the middle of your bow.

In some ways there isn’t much difference between a wreath rail and a wreath. They both look amazing with deco mesh and ribbon tails. They both can be customized for any season or style. And they both make fabulous door décor. Hi There Sunflower Wreath Rail

Learn how you can make this sunflower wreath rail with this simple tutorial.

Directions

  • Start with your wreath rail.
  • Take your pipe cleaners and add 9 to the wreath rail.
  • Take your blue 21” deco mesh and cut 8 x 10” pieces.
  • Take your mesh, pinch the ends to make a sweetie shape and add it into 2 twist ties.
  • Add your mesh pieces into each twist tie.
  • Take your yellow 10” deco mesh and cut 5 x 10” pieces.
  • Take your mesh and make a ruffle.
  • Add your ruffles into each twist tie.
  • Take your plaid ribbon and yellow polka dot ribbon and cut 8 x 12” strips of each one.
  • Dovetail the ends of your ribbon.
  • Layer the ribbons, pinch the middle together and add it into the twist tie with the mesh.
  • Add into each twist tie, leaving one for the bow.
  • Take your tubing and cut 8 x 22” pieces of each one.
  • Take the tubing, make a circle and pinch the middle to make a bow.
  • Add the tubing bow into a twist tie on top of the ribbon tails.
  • Repeat with the rest of the tubing.
  • Make your bow: Take your 5 ribbons excluding the yellow polka dot and make a bow with each one.
  • Secure the bow together with a pipe cleaner.
  • Attach your bow to your wreath rail using the pipe cleaner, in the space where there are no tails.
  • Fluff out your bow.
  • Dovetail your bow ends.
  • Add in a sunflower to the middle of your bow.
