Make your own Hello Friends Wreath rail design

Create your own “Hello Friends” wreath rail using this easy to follow tutorial.

Directions

  • Start with your hello friends’ wreath rail.
  • Add your 5 pipe cleaners.
  • Take your green mesh and cut 5 x 20” pieces.
  • Take your mesh, curl the ends in and pinch the middle together to make a ruffle.
  • Add the ruffle into your wreath rail by attaching it to a twist tie.
  • Repeat this process with the rest of your mesh and twist ties.
  • Take your green, coral and yellow ribbon and cut 4 x 12” strips of each one.
  • Dovetail the ends of your ribbon.
  • Layer the three ribbons, pinch the middle together and add it into a twist tie.
  • Repeat this with the rest of the tails, making sure to leave a twist tie open for your bow.
  • Take your black tubing and cut 4 x 22” pieces.
  • Take the tubing, make a circle and pinch the middle to make a bow.
  • Add the tubing bow into a twist tie on top of the ribbon tails.
  • Repeat with the rest of the tubing.
  • Make your bow: Take all your ribbons, make bows and layer them, making sure the loops are smaller each time.
  • Secure the bow together with a pipe cleaner.
  • Attach your bow to your wreath rail using the pipe cleaner, in the gap you left.
  • Fluff out your bow.
  • Dovetail your bow ends.
  • Curl or roll your ends in.
