I am going to show you how easy it is for anybody, even beginners, to create this sweet wreath with just a few simple supplies.
What you will need to make your bumble bee swag:
- 20″ wreath rail
- red jelly ribbon
- 2 x 1.5″ ribbons
- 3 x 2.5′ ribbons
- 3 x 4″ ribbons
- beige deco tubing
- Black and white deco tubing
- black snowball 10” mesh
- yellow snowball 10” mesh
- Pipe cleaners
- Ribbon spool board
- Scissors
- Rotary cutter
- Black and yellow bumble bee ball decorations
How to make your bumble bee swag
- Start with your wreath rail.
- Add your pipe cleaners.
- Take your mesh and cut 20” pieces.
- Make ruffles.
- Add the ruffles into your pipe cleaners.
- Add your hive and bee decorations.
- Take your ribbons and cut 12” pieces of each one.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Layer 2 different ribbons, fold the middle and add it into a twist tie.
- Keep adding your ribbon tails.
- Cut your deco tubing.
- Make bows with your tubing.
- Add the tubing bows into the twist ties on top of your tails.
- Make your bow.
- Secure the bow together with a pipe cleaner.
- Attach your bow to your wreath rail using the pipe cleaner.
- Fluff out your bow.
- Dovetail your bow ends.
- Add in some bumblebee ball decorations.

Learn how you can make a bumble bee swag with this simple tutorial.
Supplies
Directions
- Start with your wreath rail.
- Add your pipe cleaners to the wreath rail.
- Take your mesh and cut 20” pieces.
- Take your pieces of mesh and make ruffles with them by curling in the ends and pinching the middle together.
- Add the ruffles into your pipe cleaners, alternating colors as you go.
- Add a pipe cleaner to the top for a hanger.
- Add your hive and bee decorations.
- Take your ribbons and cut 12” pieces of each one.
- Dovetail the ends.
- Layer 2 different ribbons, fold the middle and add it into a twist tie.
- Keep adding your ribbon tails.
- Take your deco tubing and cut 5 x 22” pieces of each one.
- Take 2 pieces of the tubing, make a circle and pinch the middle to make a bow.
- Add the tubing bows into the twist ties on top of your tails.
- Make your bow: Take your 4” ribbons and your thin bee ribbon and make a 2 loop bow with each one, layering them as you go.
- Secure the bow together with a pipe cleaner.
- Attach your bow to your wreath rail using the pipe cleaner.
- Fluff out your bow.
- Dovetail your bow ends.
- Add in some bumblebee ball decorations.
